The Standwell Estate (Ch3)
Charlie was walking home when he ran into the town baker's son. Jeffrey was an interesting lad, and though he was several classes beneath the Standwell’s, Charlie still enjoyed his conversation. The two had an unspoken friendship and made conversation whenever they could.

The Decimation of Jezebel Truitt
After school I tried to find Alysia immediately. Though she didn’t agree with my plan and thought it was dangerous to even think about what I was commissioning to do; she was a good listener. Today I had more than just my plan to talk about. Jesse was off the list, but I got a funny feeling when we conversed. Not to mention my audition! How could he know he had the part and not me what if I didn’t get the lead? This would be a disaster. This is my senior year, I had to go out with a bang!

The Standwell Estate
On her walk home that morning, Greer could not help but reminisce about the night before. Charles had never hinted seriously about a marriage between the two of them. They had laughed and joked together. Made fun of the town’s obvious opinion of them, but never came close to a near proposal. She was not even sure if that was what happened last night. Still she could not help the thought that entered her mind next; “Do I belong with Charlie Rue?”

The Decimation of Jezebel Truitt
I watch her constantly. Jezebel is the Queen of Follett High. Every girl wanted to be her, every girl but me. I, Jenny Savar, didn’t want to be her. I wanted to challenge her. There was only one thing in this school she wanted, but didn’t have. That one thing was Jesse Trumen, captain of the soccer team and hottest guy in school.

The Standwell Estate
Charlie Rue. Fashionable. Elegant. Daring. Wonderful. He moved with grace across the ballroom dance floor. He knew all eyes were on him, though no one else thought him aware. Charlie walked with a purpose and in no time came to stand beside Greer Colborn. He was thought to be secretly courting her, after all they had known each other for quite some time. Almost 12 years to be exact.
