To Keep A Promise
My family was cursed a long time ago by a broken promise, or so they say. Hundreds of years ago, my ancestor’s lover went to war and left her to be married off against her will and breaking their promise of everlasting love. Ever since, every one hundred years, a demon will appear and steal the heart of the oldest child of the family.

Play A Little Game
There was a lot of trauma in my early childhood. My parents divorced, I was moved away from my friends and lost contact with all but two of my friends from my hometown due to my mother’s manipulation and vindictiveness, I was severely bullied in school for being Neurodivergent (even if people didn’t know I was Neurodivergent at the time), and the cat that practically raised me died. I contribute all that happening around the same time to my early onset depression that I was diagnosed with at the tender age of eight. But as for my PTSD, that’s a partly a whole other story.

My dad adopted Odin in July 2020. When our old dog had been put down due to cancer two years prior, my dad had sworn he wouldn’t get another dog. But then the pandemic hit and the world shut down and being retired and single, my dad was all alone in his house and needed something to get him motivated when I wasn’t around. So he went on petfinder and drove an hour and a half to pick up Odin, a supposed German Shepherd Australian Cattle Dog mix who had been picked up off the streets of Georgia.

15 Minutes In Hell
When I was 12 years old, I went to the 13th birthday party of one of my school friends, who for the sake of privacy I’ll refer to as Anna. It was a sleepover and quite a few of us from school stayed in the attic of her family home. We went swimming that afternoon in the nearby river and did normal birthday party stuff like any pre-teens. It was a fun time. However, when Anna’s parents sent us to bed, the party didn’t stop.
