Melvin Junko is a dweeby mop-boy at Tromaville's most popular health club, hated by the evil fitness freaks that go there. He becomes taller, more muscular, and possessed with an unstoppable urge to punish evildoers. Iconic Sci-Fi Film Directors
The best sci-fi film directors are experts in visual storytelling. Regardless of how crazy and seemingly improbable it is to realize a sci-fi story onto the big screen, they will strive to make things work. From fearsome aliens and desolate planets to time-traveling shenanigans, these people know how to deliver the most imaginative thrills. While superhero films are currently dominating the box office, sci-fi has its fair share of monster hits. It’s about time that the top sci-fi film directors get the recognition they deserve.

'Mad Max' Tracks on 'Fury Road'
The video editing team at OMNI was curious to see just how similar the 1979 Mad Max trailer was to the Mad Max: Fury Road trailer. Taking the trailer of George Miller's famous Mad Max, the team overlaid the audio track from his updated masterpiece, Fury Road. They then repeated in reverse. Once again, what happened was surprising. The two trailers seem like their audio can be swapped without any issues, confirming one of the purest re-imaginings by an iconic director.

David Bowie's 'The Man Who Fell to Earth'
Let us consider the genre of classic rock-music movies. We had Magical Mystery Tour, featuring The Beatles. It was amusing in 1968, but it is an embarrassment by today's standards. Groundbreaking effects then, but Millennials don't have much patience for the limitations of the past. Then there was Tommy, so garishly produced, over-acted, over-hyped, and generally insensitive that it was cut-rated down to second-run theaters within weeks of its release, and Lisztomania, its follow-up, fared even worse. About the only decent movies of this type from the original rock era was the Beatles's early effort and Dylan's Don't Look Back.

History of Movie Reviews Was Written in the Stars
Many years ago, movie reviewing was a shadowy journalistic sidelight, but it has now taken center stage in the digital ethos of America. Thousands of young people now yearn, and even study, to become film critics. There are film critic stars on every medium from You Tube to Facebook. Thousands of others publish reviews online. From Rotten Tomatoes to Metacritic the notion of a professional movie critic has all too often been diluted down to a commodity. Courses are given in universities and online. We have all become pseudo film critics.

Sexiest Movies of 2016
Sexy movies come out every year, but the definition of a sexy movie in a particular year evolves and fluctuates with public sentiment. In a sense, sexy movies come to define the sexual sentiment of the movie going public in any given year. 2016 was no exception with the diverse output of not only Hollywood, but foreign markets and independent cinema, as well. Of course, the definition of sexy is broad and subjective this year, as opposed to 2015 when everything was measured against the single standard of Fifty Shades of Grey. In 2016 there was something for everyone, from musicals to action. Even cartoon bread gets in on the action. The differences in opinion are no different than the divisions we face as a culture this year when it comes to sexuality, female empowerment and the art or erotic entertainment.

Pam Grier's Best Blaxploitation Films
She is the original blaxploitation queen. Part of a small group of women who defined the genre. They set the tone for much of African American urban cinema in the 1960 and 1970s. Pam Grier has been steaming up the screen for decades. After blaxploitation went out of style and urban African American culture moved beyond stereotypes, she starred in defining roles like Steven Seagal's 1988 classic action film Above the Law, Quentin Tarantino's homage to blaxploitation; Jackie Brown, and then re-defined herself on Showtime's ground breaking The L word. It is hard to find groundbreaking women like Pam in the saturated world of contemporary pop icons. The juxtaposition of her blaxploitation rolls during a critical decade for women and the civil rights movement make her a career a unique example of the fundamental changes in Hollywood for women and minorities.

From 'Reefer Madness' to Marijuana Legalization
Imagine—if you can—a social gathering of young millennials enjoying a pseudo intellectual debate while passing around the vape. Consider the affluent suburbs, where pre-rolled joints from Willie's Reserve are handed out while guests are greeted by the hosts. Think about the factory workers, truck drivers, laborers, and clerks who smoke marijuana to ease the boredom of the day. Businessmen, brokers, attorneys, and accountants score an ounce or two of quality weed from the firm's friendly dealer, be it a stock boy or another partner. Marijuana, once feared is now as much a part of our culture as much as beer and hotdogs.

Hottest Movie and TV Pool Scenes
Sexy pool scenes have been a staple of movie makers since Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Each of these films has two things in common: a beautiful woman in a sexy bathing suit and a swimming pool. When a movie has a hot pool scene like Halle Berry topless in Sword Fish, no matter what you think of the movie, you don't feel you wasted your time.
