Here I am, fighting to stay a float They wavy water tipped over my boat Using my metaphor's Searching for open door's As I write you a short little poetic note
We've waited so long for the moments that make us We've gotta stand strong so they don't overtake us Keep pushing through
These toxic traits are taking a toll My mistakes are breaking my soul I wont let them win So before I begin I humble myself and regain control
Palms are sweaty knee's weak arms are heavy Stomach churning Bowels turning Vomit on his sweater already --- There's vomit on his sweater already
Why do we fight only to fail? It seems as if good doesn't balance the scale. Why do we live if we always feel pain? Why doesn't glory come without strain?
People, people, what do they believe? Try speaking the truth and they force you to leave. They all become blind when presented the fact.
If you were to travel deep in your mind Searching for truth, what would you find? For the meaning of life we're all on the search.
