The words repeated like a broken record as if they were the last thing she would ever hear. She began to grow restless as she came to realize her dream was just a motif she could not understand.

The Candle in the Window
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Nestled uncomfortably between several large pine trees, the cabin’s appearance was dilapidated amidst the near lifeless trees and the crooked shadows they would cast. A worn out pathway overgrown with dense bushes and thorny vines led to a vague clearing that surrounded the cabin’s perimeter.

Trial and Error in Fatherhood
Big, worn out hands. A towering figure that provides both safety and comfort, yet commands authority. A tone of voice that can be inviting, or corrective. "Dad" is a term that many can relate to happily. The man we look up to, modeling our behavior and decisions, sometimes after they're long gone.
