Fiscal Responsibility of Government
In this troubled world we sometimes loose our way. So true for many of us. For some time, our heads of state really have lost their way in regard to ensure a more perfect union. It is a sad commentary when so many of our entrusted leaders of government remain oblivious to the actual reasons why our national debt threatens the very future of our nation, and the many other reasons why our society faces a bleak economic forecast in the months and years ahead.

Blindsided
At a time when Florida's Governor decides to take on Trump and the Republican party's choice for President, we should remember what Charlie Christ said during the only debate in Florida's governor's race last year. True to form Christ was right all along. And when the NAACP announces that African American's are openly discriminated against here in Florida just adds salt to the already wounded social ills that are imbedded in the Republican mindset of so many not only in Florida but around the country.

The Paradox That Is America
America. what does this nation stand for? Too many of us are being led to believe that the United States is the greatest country in the world. Well, we used to be. Some time ago we gave it up for corporate greed and political power for a few elites. When we look at the political landscape of today there relay isn't that much difference between our two-party system. And when it takes millions of dollars to get elected for a job that only pays so little by today's standards spell corruption in every level of government.

A Turning Point For America
There has been a lot of controversy concerning the validity of implementing rent controls especially in light of the continuing rate increases in housing and a housing crisis in general. When the Fed continues to rase interest rates it does nothing to ease the affordability of home ownership and for that matter inflation. The argument stems from the fact that there is a housing shortage. That is true in some parts. But the housing market has always been driven by what is called supply and demand. When the supply of housing is not sufficient to handle a population the price of housing has always driven up the cost of either renting or owning.

Only A State Of Mind
In a world marked by confusion, discord, ignorance, hate and greed too many are caught in a tailspin where there is no black or white only the gray area in-between. The sociological impact of all this has transformed our society. A society today made up where many individuals phycological makeup goes against the laws of nature. And at the same time our society seems to be completely incapable of preventing the willful carnage that keeps happening in and around our nation. The connectivity is quite apparent considering the recent atrocity in Nashville.

War, What Is It Good For?
At the height of the Viet Nam era Edwin Star put out the now forgotten song "War What Is It Good For" and the lyrics follows saying " absolutely nothing:" It is quite apparent that nations still resort to armed conflict when disputes arise either domestically or internationally. We have to go even further back when General MacArthur quoted at the signing of the peace agreement with Japan following World War II when he said, "If nations can't find peaceful means to solve disputes Armageddon will be on our doorstep."

The Cosmopolitan
It was a cool autumn day and for Henry Hughes the day started out auspiciously enough. But all that was about to change. Henry now scratching his already graying hair began remembering what he was supposed to do today. Last night the reception for Prince Alexander was the event that all New Yorkers had been anticipating. Then of course there was Regina, a Egyptian delegate, a most sultry women whose flowing emerald gown seemed to draw the attention of most of the men. The way she wore that dress was like a magnate that would hypnotize any man who was close enough to fall for her charms. Henry, though could not be seduced. Not on that night. As an undercover operative for the secret service where only the President and the Chief of Staff knew of his assignment the balance of world power was at stake. At the reception Henry had made arrangements with Count Drackol to meet at the top of Freedom Tower around 10 this morning. Count Drackol whose real identity was a KBG agent sent on behave of President Putin where the two would collaborate to ensure that the balance of power would remain stable after the escalating insurgency of ISIS in Syria which had spread through Turkey and now is on Israel's front door.

Inflation
Inflation, that word conjures up dread for millions all over the world. But what causes inflation? Many think it is caused by supply and demand. Well, that is part of it. The real culprit has always been the Federal Reserve and the financial institutions especially here in the US. The banking industry ever since the Rothschild's founded the Bank of England have always been profit motivated seeking as many ways as possible to steal people's money.
