Trust the River
Scott Glenn felt like a failure with plenty of evidence to back it up, not the least of which was the fight three nights ago with his son Layne who had told his parents he wanted to study drama in college. In the Hammer and Fin
A cloaked figure moved through the crowded streets of Black Rock, a coastal port of Cypria that had been named for the large volcanic island that rose like a dark specter off it’s coastline. A small light house on the Rock, as the locals called it, served warning for friendly ships making their way into the shores of Cypria and to the Armies of Krygon the Great that enemies approached. The light would suddenly go dark allowing the armies to prepare as the enemy attempted to blindly navigate the barrier, usually unsuccessfully.

Thanks A Lot, Dad
Brandon struggled to free his keys while maintaining a grip on his mail, his leather briefcase, and his umbrella. As usual he had asked the doorman, Randy or Roodey, he could never remember exactly, to collect his mail so he could review it as he rode the elevator to the thirty-ninth floor of the Vision Condominium high-rise. Usually the mail consisted of the assorted junk mail that most people receive, but today Brandon had also received a package wrapped in brown paper.
