Can you learn to drive in a month?
Can you learn to drive in a month? learn to drive If you’re a teen, then you’re likely rearing to go on a drive on your own. If you’re older than that, perhaps in your 30’s or even middle aged, you may want to take things a little easier and get used to the vehicle you’re driving properly before speeding off on your own, you may even want to get your driving skills updated or improved

Learner driving with supervisor
LEARNER DRIVING WITH SUPERVISOR My name is Karen and my Dad taught me to drive. Every weekend was lesson time and my Dad used to take me on a training drive. When I took the wheel, Dad was by me on the passenger side guiding and helping me out. It all turned out quite well and I was proud when Dad used to say that I was a ‘really good driver’ or he’d say ‘great driving’ every time our driving sessions ended. I was on cloud 9 and was really sure that my driving was top notch. However, all that changed when it was time for me to take my drive test with the examiner. It came as a shock when he quietly wrote ‘failed’ on the test form and with a smile said ‘better luck next time’.

Should I teach my teen how to drive?
Should I teach my teen how to drive? While this seems like a great idea, many parents as well as their kids may not be that eager to engage in driving lessons with either party. This is interestingly stated in an article found on www.verywellfamily.com. The author goes on to state ‘helping your children drive strikes fear into the hearts of many parents’. How often it is considered true, remains debatable. However, past experiences and even research has proven that in many cases, parents do seem reluctant to teach their children. The transport and accident commission of Australia shares some not-so-great facts when it comes to young driver related road accidents. The factsheet goes on to say that the age group of 16 to 24 years make up 18% of all fatalities and 20% of all serious injuries in South Australia from 2015-2019. And 138 were seriously injured.

WHAT ARE DRIVING LESSONS LIKE?
WHAT ARE DRIVING LESSONS LIKE? What was your first day at school like?.... Did you feel anxious? Did you feel awkward about the person seated next to you? Did the teacher make you feel like you were doing something wrong all the time? Seems an odd thing to say, but your first day at a driving lesson might seem very similar to your first day at school. Feeling anxious, awkward, and making a mistake are just part of the learning process when learning to drive, especially when its your first day at lessons.

DRIVING LESSONS FOR ANXIOUS DRIVERS
DRIVING LESSONS FOR ANXIOUS DRIVERS Did you know that driving a car is one of the riskiest things a human can do? In the year 2021 an accurate figure of 1,123 car crash deaths were reported in Australia by www.bitre.gov.au. More shocking than that is the fact, this figure comes as an increase of 2.6% in car crashes compared to the previous year. In another article published by www.anxietyaustralia.com.au, a survey carried out in 2014 discovered that over 79% Australians out of a thousand, had fears about driving. This has resulted in some age groups not willing to take up any form of driving. And finally, meeting with a motor car accident is among the second most feared things in Australia. However dire this may seem, there is a silver lining behind the fear factor. And it comes in the form of proper driver training. Lets look at this later on, but for now, the most important factor is getting over the fears and anxiety. This is a line every learner driver must learn to cross.
