Character Spotlight: John Constantine
I grew up with a mother who was into going to church so we couldn't watch The Exorcist or anything like that, but, during the summer of 2005, I woke up one morning and saw that my parents went to Hollywood Video because anytime they go to buy movies, they usually end up on the floor, but, if they rent, they leave rented movies on top of the TV. Anyway, they bought a few movies but rented one, Constantine with Keanu Reeves, and I wanted to watch it, but I had summer school.

Why Feelings Drag Me Down Lately
Ever since I was 18, I should've known how complicated dating was going to be. It just got more complicated as the years went by, I wish I caught on to it earlier while I was in high school because every other time I look back on it, I realize how much I was knee deep in my fairy tale phase since I was all into those high school movies where the guy gets the girl by the end except I had no idea how it was nothing like that plus the more I end up catch feelings, the more cynical I got towards the idea of someone actually liking me back.

Superheroes and Their Roles in My Life
Saturday mornings were always a special time for me. My dad had me watching Spider-Man: The Animated Series and I don't remember much of the show but the theme song stuck with me for a long time, I still remember it. He also had me watch the animated series to X-Men and I'm pretty sure he got me into Batman: The Animated Series too but I know for a fact that he got me into Batman Beyond and Dragon Ball Z. Also, my mom surprisingly got me into the Batman movies with Michael Keaton (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Beetlejuice), Val Kilmer (Top Gun, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), and even George Clooney (Gravity, O Brother, Where Art Thou?). I love my mom but damn it, I have no idea why I was so into Batman & Robin but then, I went to live with my dad for a year while I was nine, he got me into Hulk although, I didn't know more about him until The Incredible Hulk came out.

2014: Second Best Year of My Life
2014...... Damn, what an amazing year. There were definitely lows but a lot of highs came after that. January of this year came and I was getting the sour taste of 2013 out of my mouth. It wasn't easy to do but it got easier when I went back to school. It started quietly at first but after I did the play, Tuna Does Vegas as one of the stage crew members, I had a feeling that things were just getting started.

The Internal War
After I got the news about Sofia and Ellen, I was devastated. We ended up hanging out at our mutual friend's place and a good friend of mine. Peter wanted me to come with him to get some food for our friends. We went to Wendy's, I was barely hungry so I just got a drink and some french fries with our orders and since it was a big order, we had to wait in the parking lot. I told Peter about how I was having feelings for Sofia and how I was holding up with the news, then he told me that he was having feelings for her too.

Me, Ellen, and the Girl I Wish I Never Liked
May 28, 2015: A day I just can't forget no matter what. I was on the floor with a hole in my chest surrounded by people who got the same news as me except I wasn't happy, so I look at the ceiling hoping that I'll wake up from this nightmare but I'm still awake and this pain is the only thing I have right now....

Yes, I Think Women Can Have a Cute Belly Button
When I was 19, before I realized that I loved women's legs, I Googled a lot of actresses in my spare time to see their beauty, but back when I was coming into discovering what I like regarding a woman's physical features, one was really unique to me: the belly button.

When I Was 19 'Drive' Released Something out of Me
Picture this: You're 2 years out of high school and you have no job while taking a break from college because of some money issues. You're still recovering from your very first heartbreak and have no girlfriend. You have hardly any friends. All you do is apply for jobs that reject you and won't call you back because all you do is stay at home and watch Netflix. Now while you're looking for something to watch since you don't feel like watching another episode of How I Met Your Mother, you find this movie, Drive. You heard good things about it and it was played at a few film festivals but you're not expecting much from it.

My First Experience in Summer Camp
Have you ever had such a good time doing something while you keep doing what you love that you almost forget how you got to that one place? That's how it was for me, and it's all thanks to my high school drama teacher at the time, Daniel. He definitely pointed me in the direction of the summer camp that I would go to except at the time, I knew I'd be 17 years old when it started since he told me about it when I was 16.

I Think I Sprained My Ankle
Three years ago, I was in this play called, "The K of D." It was about an urban legend in a small town that had to do with this girl who can kill you with a kiss, but it's also a comedy since the story revolves around kids that get involved in it. Anyway, there was a bit of drama behind the scenes, at least with me since this was a more internal problem. I developed feelings for someone I shouldn't have and I knew how everything was going to play out so I was doing things to keep my mind busy.

What Is It With Me And Redheads?
When I was a kid, I grew up around a lot of gals who had blonde hair and darker hair but I've never seen a gal with red hair before. In 2002, one of the movies that got me into superheroes and superhero movies, Spider-Man was coming out and Kirsten Dunst was in it. I already had a bit of a crush on her because I used to watch, Bring It On a lot when I came home from school but by the time I saw Spider-Man, my crush for her developed a bit of a fire. I was seven or eight years old at the time and she was all I talked about besides Britney Spears and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Scooby Doo, Buffy The Vampire Slayer).

The 80s Is My Decade
There are so many things that I loved when I was 12. Movies, acting out movie scenes at school, taking some naps when I get home from school, listen to music on my CD player (I was probably the last kid to have a CD player since mp3 players and iPods were blowing up), even goofing off with my friends in class and at lunch but one thing I'll never forget is discovering more of the 80s for the first time.
