Indian left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has achieved a significant milestone, earning a nomination for the prestigious ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year 2024 award. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the nominations on Sunday, December 29, highlighting the standout performers in the shortest format of the game over the past year. Arshdeep is the only Indian player on the list, making his inclusion even more special. Surprisingly, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who played a crucial role in India’s T20 World Cup triumph earlier this year, did not feature among the nominees.
