The Power of Small Moments: Connecting Through Literature on the Subway.
One seemingly small moment that had a big impact on my life happened during my morning commute to work. I was riding the subway and noticed an older man sitting across from me. He was dressed in shabby clothing and had a weathered, tired look on his face. I had seen plenty of people like him before and normally wouldn't have given him a second thought, but something about him caught my attention. This realization stayed with me long after that subway ride ended. It made me see the world with fresh eyes and appreciate the beauty of the unexpected. It also taught me that sometimes the smallest moments can lead to the most meaningful experiences, and that taking a chance on connecting with someone can lead to a new perspective, a new friend, or even a new path in life. The encounter with the man on the subway became a reminder to never judge a book by its cover, and instead, to approach the world with curiosity and an open heart.
