Your work is great, but we are going with somebody else

I'm sure that most people have had the feeling of not being good enough at what you think is your passion, I’ve had that feeling ever since I started to learn about the world of industrial design just a little over five years ago. Even with a diploma, a junior design job, two internships and a portfolio that any person should be proud of, you can’t help but listen to that little voice in your head that says “what are you doing here, your skills are not where they are supposed to be, you're letting the team down” I sit here writing this two weeks after my internship has finished and one amazing job offer has fallen through with both having one sentence in common, “Your work is great, but we are going with somebody else for the full time position” that is a real kick in the gut.
