The Dragons Cookbook
Hanston, beaten and battered, lay in his cell wondering why he ever thought it would be a good idea to attack a red dragon single handed. He groaned a bit as his head throbbed and he wondered if he would even survive this escapade. He thought of his poor horse and wondered what type of recipe he would end up in; he knew this dragon, Farthon, was renowned for his cooking skills.

He had been traveling for a couple of days, expecting his prey to be on the way to Fonto. It was truly the only logical place for this suffering idiot to be heading, he decided. There were no other cities that would let him in and Fonto was a lawless place on the other side of the great forest, away from the sheriff’s men in Sota. He had to be heading there.

When Dragons War
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. As a matter of fact, the valley had been full of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses. There were farms and fields of hay, barley, wheat and so many other crops. The valley was alive with people and animals and only an occasional flyover by a dragon with no real harm done except the occasional disappearance of a sheep.
