You can learn from his story that having too much self-love can lead to too many problems. Before we get into the reasons why people act narcissistically, let's examine the myth. As a result, narcissist tales come in a variety of flavors. He was the child of two legendary animals. A fortune teller told his parents when he was born that their son would live until he saw himself, so they wisely removed all mirrors and reflective objects from the house. Narcissus was an attractive young fellow. Narcissists didn't like anyone, but local nymphs and girls admired his beauty and were in love with him. He liked to walk through the forest, eat fruit, and listen to the birds sing. One day, an Echo nymph saw him walking among the flowers and trees. She immediately fell in love with him. She told him about her feelings after some time, but Narcissus turned her down. Echo's heartbroken. She fled and concealed herself deep within the forest. She died because she was so sad and couldn't drink or eat. Her voice was the only thing that was left after her. It echoed through the trees and bushes, and Nemesis heard it. Nemesis was furious that Narcissus had rejected the nymph. She chose to rebuff him so Adversary made him go gaga for himself. On one occasion narcissus saw his appearance in the lake and couldn't take his eyes off. Because he didn't drink or eat anything during that time, he looked at himself in love for many weeks before his life ended. Narcissus vanished yet abandoned a lovely blossom close to the lake. This flower was given the name he gave it. Now, the nymph Echo was punished by Hera in another version for a Zeus-related act. Since Hera made it impossible for her to speak normally, she could only repeat what she heard from that point on. She would have responded that it was either a bird or a dinosaur if you had asked her that question. Yes, that could become irritating Echo hid in a dark cave because she did not want to live with such a curse. She made the decision to remain there until her death. She noticed a narcissus walking by after a little while. As soon as the nymph fell in love with the young man, she found a new meaning in life. The question now is how to admit her feelings. Echo decided to seek assistance from the forest because she was unable to communicate normally with him. She had a few wizardry capacities that permitted her to control creatures and trees. She utilized birds and leaves of trees to some way or another talk about her thoughts with Narcissus. The young man was aware of the nymph's feelings for him right away, but he refused without hesitation. He was too focused on himself and didn't want to share that with anyone else, or perhaps he didn't even like anyone. It's possible that he was seeking an ideal of beauty that could not be found in nature. The already sad Echo became even more depressed. She began to weep when she returned to her cave. She was unable to eat or drink. She made the decision to remain here indefinitely. Echo pleaded with Nemesis to restore justice and punish Narcissus for his arrogance in the final days. Adversary denied him of the chance to adore another person and constrained him to cherish just himself and afterward one hot day narcissus went to the lake to chill off. He briefly bent down to drink water and saw the reflection. At that point the prophetess' words materialized. Narcissus couldn't stop staring at the Pod surface because he was so awestruck by his beauty. He was so consumed that he avoided eating or drinking. The water was before him yet he didn't extinguish his thirst in light of the fact that the magnificence wasn't letting him go. Narcissus bowed down so low that he fell into the water and uh at absolutely no point ever surfaced in the future. The fairies of the timberland couldn't track down him. There were a lot of grieving women. A wonderful bloom with white petals showed up on the Stream Shore .they named it after the attractive young fellow. Narcissus was doomed to stare at his reflection in the Styx River for the rest of his life; it was like he was in a trance. He was hypnotized by this self-love. The Everlasting look and his appearance made him limitlessly troubled and blissful simultaneously. Because people dislike narcissistic personalities, such a character is hard to sympathize with, but another version of the well-known legend provides justification for the young man's actions. In one of his books about Greece, a well-known Greek geographer wrote that Narcissus had beautiful twin sisters. She passed away on a terrible day, and they looked like two drops of water.
