The Beast Inside You
A week had passed since Jane was woken by the creature outside her bedroom window and the paranoia had not left her quite yet. Every snap of a twig or flap of a birds wing had her jumping and scanning her surroundings whenever she was outside, so it was somewhat of a relief when grocery day rolled around and she had to go down the mountain to the small village that nestled at the bottom.

The Well in the Garden
There is a legend surrounding the well that resides in the deepest part of the gardens on the royal estate. A legend that states that those with pure intentions would find success after visiting the well. Today I will be testing that out.

The Beast Inside You
The small log cabin was chilly, the fire having long gone out in the middle of the night. A rocking chair creaked from the front porch as it swayed in the strong breeze outside, not quite in tune with the songs of the birds pecking at the ground outside. Jane watched the life of the forest surrounding the cabin go by from the small window in the kitchen as the kettle sat on the stove, heating the water for her tea.

The Girl in the Cave
Drip, drip, drip. The sound of water splashing on the cave floor echoed as Cam sketched in his pad. Deep in the damp cave, his village bustled, the lanterns in each house and along the road the only source of light. Every chance he got, Cam was at the mouth of the cave, sketching everything he saw from the smallest bug to large predators prowling by.
