A Touch of Romance: Adding Spice to a Stagnant Marriage
Being together for long periods of time can make a relationship dull and monotonous. The most commonly heard saying is: "We have been together for so long, holding hands is like holding hands like left hand and right hand, there is no passion anymore." Therefore, in order for relationships to last, they often need to spice them up, keep them fresh and exciting people's hearts. Xiao Wu and Xiao Jia have known each other since childhood, and they are so familiar with each other that their breathing seems to be in sync. Over time, their marriage became suffocated and repressed. Xiaojia knew that he was considerate and kind, but she still felt dissatisfied. Xiao Jia asked him, "Why didn't you make any romantic moves?" Xiao Wu smiled awkwardly, and asked, "What counts as a romantic move?" Later, Xiao Jia considered leaving Xiao Wu. He asked, "Why?" Xiao Jia said, "I hate this stagnant life." Xiao Wu replied, "Then let fate decide. If it rains tonight, it means that we are destined to be together." Xiao Jia looked at the clear sky and said, "But what if it doesn't rain?" Xiao Wu said helplessly, "Then I can only resign myself to fate." At night, when Xiao Jia was falling asleep, she heard raindrops hitting the window the sound of. She got up and walked to the window, water drops fell on the glass. She looked at the night sky and saw dots of starlight dotted it. She climbed up to the roof and was surprised to find that Xiao Wu was pouring water from above, spoon by spoon. Xiao Jia's heart was pounding, and she gently hugged him from behind. Marriage needs a touch of romance, an oasis in the desert that brings hope and beauty to our tired eyes, even in the face of each other's silliest romantic moves.
