One Story to Rule Them All...
When I was a young boy, my only means of escape from the horrors and sheer boredom of the real world were books. I would read just about everything I could get my hands on, starting with The Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy at 5, moving on to Dune at around 7 or 8. I was 10 when I stole my older brother's copy of Lord of the Rings, a tattered, dog-eared tome containing the entirety of the trilogy in the one volume.

The Jaws of Summer
In 1975, a little known budding director named Steven Spielburg made a film based on a book about a shark. Terrifying audiences, it spawned a bunch of sequels of varying quality. It also altered the landscape of cinema forever. The summer blockbuster had been birthed from the exploding shark's remains.

A Conspiracy of Clowns
A Conspiracy of Clowns Synopsis: A Conspiracy of Clowns takes the basic premise of the 80s sci-fi classics such as ‘They Live’ and ‘V’, only, rather than extraterrestrial lizards in a human skinsuit trying to suck our planet dry of resources while brainwashing and indoctrinating everybody to fight in their Leader’s wars, it is interdimensional clowns under a holographic shroud that have come to siphon away all of our emotions, beginning with joy and happiness. They infiltrate all walks of life, from world leaders all the way down to doctors, nurses, police. Garbage disposal personnel. Teachers. The media. The Clowns are everywhere. There is no way to stop them. They are all-pervasive, they have infiltrated every level of civilian and government life in every country on Earth.

Flight of the Living Dead
I have always hated flying. This flight is no exception. My third for the week. My entire life, it seems, is nothing but flying from one place to the next, spending a good half of my life on aeroplanes such as this one. Glancing out over the wing, I saw clouds until a rude hand came from behind to shove my window closed. I opened it again, only to have the person sat behind me try to close it once more. This time, I was ready. I gripped the arm as it passed my face.

The Man in the Mirror
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn’t my own. It was, yet it wasn’t. At first it was nothing serious, nothing to worry about. Just a flicker of an eyelid, barely noticeable in the beginning. Was it my eyelid flickering, or the reflection? Hard to tell. The strange feeling that the mirror was watching me was what had prompted me to make the purchase, naturally. I’ve always leaned towards the odd, the strange. The unfamiliar. This mirror, with its slightly brighter-than-the-real-world colouring, had fit the bill nicely. A neighbour’s yard sale had brought me out from the depths of my home, investigating the refuse of someone else’s life like some kind of garbage-fossicking wild beast.
