Barney's Friends And Hero
Eight year old Barney Livingston lived with his parents, three year old sister, Nadine, and six year old brother, Wyatt. He had a great fear of spiders. One day one landed on his nose which made him sob uncontrollably. He was about half the size of kids his age. Some of them constantly laughed at him and ridiculed him which made him sob uncontrollably. He hid in his room and missed some school. His parents talked him into going back to school and finding a new circle of friends who didn't judge him for his size which he did.

Connie's Life Map
Thirteen year old Connie had recently gained more than 200 pounds. She was afraid to find out how much weight she had gained.The last time she stepped on the scales she weighed 154 pounds. She had a lot of friends then. Now she was afraid of making friends because she was fat and ugly. She did not want to step on the scales. She was now a teenager and not ready to be one. She had long blond straggly hair and did not comb it. She was not want to go to school.

Sebastian Meets His Birth Dad
Twelve year old Sebastian Bingham was an only child living with his adoptive parents, Franklin and Betty in Topeka, Kansas. He learned that his birth parents, Theodore and Jean could not take care of him because he had recently been laid off from his job. His dad, Robin was adopted too. Topeka received lightning and rain it seemed every two months. Sebastian loved to jump in mud puddles, dance and run through the rain. He enjoyed collecting rocks, lizards, and bugs. He had the biggest smile and was a happy go lucky boy. He also had a guinea pig named Petunia, hamster named Chip, and a parrot named Spike.

Adventure To The Jungle
One summer day a group of ten teenage boys embarked on a week-long adventure to the Amazon jungle in Brazil. They had taken a few rides on their American paint horses to get ready for their adventure. They left in the middle of a sunny day. They each took a lantern with them so they could see at night. In a couple of hours, the sky filled with several rain clouds; and it rained, but not too hard. Their trip to the jungle took three hours. They took several breaks to give their horses a rest. The enjoyed singing the songs "Home On The Range" "On Top Of Spaghetti", "Sing A Little Sunshine", "She'll Be Coming Around The Mountain" and "I See The Rain."

Zachary's Baseball Dream
Twelve year old Zachary Williamson moved with his family from San Francisco, California to Phoenix, Arizona one summer. He enjoyed several sports, but he was a big baseball fan. His dream was to have the opportunity to attend one of the Diamondback games, meet all of their players, and have them autograph a baseball and jersey for him.

Time To Say Good-bye
Randy was a twelve year-old golden retriever. He belonged to the Taylor family. They had two girls, two boys: Patricia, Carol, Brian, and Peter. Randy had cancer for the last five months. He didn’t feel like eating or running at all anymore. The family knew it was time to say good-bye. Randy had been best buddies with Brian. He had done all kinds of things with him. They had many walks to the park. Randy loved to fetch a frisbee. Brian knew he would see his dog again. He was glad he would no longer be in pain.
