Obsidian Moon Pack: Mate
Chapter One Talijah’s POV The electricity started flickering again. This has been happening for the last two months now, ever since they showed up. My hometown, Green River Valley, was large enough to fit in two towns, both with nurseries, high schools and colleges. It didn’t help that my local school, Valley High, doubled up as a college, so we had students here until 25 years of age sometimes. After their own school and most of their part of town suffered from vandalism and gang activity that ultimately led to most of their town being closed due to structural damage, we have had non-stop problems with the electrics, vandalization etc. In all honesty, no one ever seemed to see them up to anything they shouldn’t be so no one could prove it was actually them. That being said, it wasn’t hard to figure out that none of this happened until they were moved over. You could tell who they were from a mile away, they all wore the same leather jacket, every day, no matter the weather. The jacket was black with a big wolf on the back. The shiny black wolf had a menacing grin on his face, tongue lolled out to the side, and its mouth wide open with blood dripping from its teeth. Very hard to miss.

The Realm of Lavaria
Vrison. "There weren't always dragons in the valley." Minos the Swift, the fastest dragon in all the realms, and Tezzedot the Nocturnal, the only dragon who can travel as a shadow, both eagerly watched their master as he stared through the newly made portal to the Realm of Lavaria. His red scales dimly lit by the stirring of morning trickling through the portal door. Running his jet-black talons down his greying neck frill, he continued with his story. "There was a time when dragons were looked down on. The elves and the sorcerers kept us as pets. They chained us up in caves, clipped our wings and kept us on the brink of starvation. That is until we rose and claimed back each realm. Now look at them. Dragons, elves, and wizards living together in perfect harmony, training together, eating together. It makes me sick. Dragons are the superior species! We should be ruling the kingdoms! Not living amongst these creatures who treat us in such a vile manner!" Master began shaking his head, still looking out of the portal door. Watching as the village of Korr start to arise from their slumber.
