With no movie release, no big conventions, and no major announcements from Lucasfilm, 2021 was a rather mediocre year for Star Wars. Dave Filoni Explains Why He Thinks Boba Fett Has Remained Such A Popular Character
It says on the back of the DVD case for Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II, that anything with Boba Fett featured in it increases it's worth by 800%. And that is definitely the case. Now more than ever. You could argue that Boba Fett has been popular since his appearance in The Empire Strikes Back, (tries not to remember the infamous Holiday Special, it didn't happen, it never happened. GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!) but you could also say he's been seen as a bit of a joke. That embarrassing defeat he suffered in Return of the Jedi, a temporarily blind man with a pole took out the galaxy's best bounty hunter after he had only been on screen for a combined 6 minutes.

'Andor' Star Discusses The Secrecy Behind The Show
It is of no surprise to anyone that a Disney property is keeping things close to the chest when it comes to spoilers. Marvel and the recent run of Star Wars movies and series have done an excellent job of keeping big reveals, character cameos, and plot points under wraps until the moment is right. Look no further than the doctoring of Marvel trailers, including Endgame and No Way Home, or the big reveal of The Child in the series premiere of The Mandalorian as examples of this secrecy.

Robert Rodriguez Confirms 'Boba Fett' Trailers Are All From The Beginning Of The Pilot Episode
With the premier of The Book of Boba Fett quickly approaching on December 29th, most fans will be shocked to hear that the trailers that have been released are compiled footage from only the first episode. Robert Rodriguez confirms Boba Fett trailers are all from the beginning of the pilot episode. According to Rodriguez, they had to use quite a bit of restraint when releasing the trailers, stating in the Hollywood Reporter “We can’t use the second half of the first episode because it gives so much away,” this only makes the anticipation for the premier of The Book of Boba Fett grow that much more.

Palpatine's Secret Hiding Place Highlights Just How Blind The Jedi Really Were
Palpatine is easily one of the most conniving and devious Sith in Star Wars. He was the mastermind behind the Clone Wars, pulling the strings of both Separatist and Republic leaders. If that wasn’t enough, he also hid in plain sight from the Jedi. Most of the time, he was able to manipulate the Jedi into carrying out his hidden agenda without the Jedi even noticing.

Adam Driver Shares What Daisy Ridley Is Really Like On Set
Whatever one might think about the Star Wars sequel trilogy, the ease with which its lead actors, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver, worked with each other, particularly regarding Daisy Ridley, is real, according to actor Adam Driver. Like Mark Hamill before her, Daisy Ridley was a relative unknown when she was cast as Rey, the new lead Jedi character, in 2015's The Force Awakens. Adam Driver was cast as Kylo Ren (aka Ben Solo), a dark side Force user, who became Rey and the Resistance's primary nemesis throughout most of the sequel trilogy.
