Composer From 'Star Wars Rebels' Reported To Return For 'The Bad Batch' On Disney+
The Direct is reporting via Film Music Reporter that music composer Kevin Kiner, who composed music for multiple Star Wars series since 2008, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars (the 2008 movie and subsequent series), as well as Disney’s first original Star Wars series, Rebels, is reportedly planning to return to compose music for the upcoming Disney+ series The Bad Batch. This new animated series is expected to focus on a specialized unit of clone troopers and their exploits. These new characters, originally created during the initial run of The Clone Wars but whose story arc was left unfinished when the series was cancelled at the time of Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm, were featured in an exclusive story arc included in a Disney-produced surprise seventh season of The Clone Wars this past year. Not surprisingly, Kevin Kiner composed the score for this final season of the series as well, and he even composed a special leitmotif (signature theme) for this special group!

Rosario Dawson Teases Sabine Wren Possibly Being In Live-Action 'Ahsoka' Series
The internet can be a strange creature (as if you didn’t already know this). Sometimes, a single tweet is enough to stir up all kinds of speculation. In this case, however, it wasn’t even a tweet, but simply a click on the little heart below a tweet, that sparked the rumor mill:

Netflix Officially Dethroned As Top Streaming Service Thanks To 'The Mandalorian'
It's undeniable that cable TV is going the way of the dinosaurs. With its high prices and oceans of useless channels that you're paying for, streaming services have exploded in popularity over the last decade plus. The undeniable juggernaut of the industry is Netflix. Since it exploded in popularity in 2007, it has dominated the streaming industry, helped along by having such megahit shows as The Office as part of its library. While new streaming services did pop up, such as HBO Max, Shudder, and Hulu, Netflix was still the leader of them all.

DEBUNKED: No, Lucasfilm Is Not Going To Retcon The Sequel Trilogy In The Ahsoka Tano Series
When it comes to Star Wars, fans can be a little...emotional. The original three films are some of the most beloved films in cinematic history, and regardless of generation, it holds a special place in the hearts of people all over the world. For a lot of people (myself included), it's an important, nostalgic part of childhood. Hopes were high once The Phantom Menace was released in 1999, and then it did not live up to expectations of some of the viewers. Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith weren't exactly being nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars either. However, as the years have gone by, people have softened on them, and now they have their defenders.

Lars Mikkelsen Has Reportedly Been Cast To Play Thrawn In The 'Ahsoka' Spinoff Series
While the long wait for The Mandalorian season 3 stretches ahead of us and The Bad Batch and The Book of Boba Fett seem all too distant, there is no shortage of reports about the galaxy far, far away. According to Small Screen, sources close to Lucasfilm have revealed that Lars Mikkelsen will be reprising his voice acting role from Star Wars Rebels and transitioning the character of Grand Admiral Thrawn into live-action. This comes as an unexpected surprise, but a welcome one to many Star Wars fans. Mikkelsen has honed and perfected the cold, calculating, methodic cadence of Thrawn during his work on the animated show. The meticulous and scheming Chiss is already a fan favorite villain due to the success of writer Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy. Thrawn, along with Jedi-in-training Ezra Bridger, are currently MIA, courtesy of hyperspace-faring creatures summoned by Bridger in the Rebels finale. These tentacled space whales, known as purrgil, encased Thrawn's flagship, the Chimaera, in a cold embrace and whisked it away, with Thrawn and Bridger onboard, into parts unknown. Now, at long last, it seems we will learn their fate.

'Star Wars' Finally Explains How The Sith Wayfinder From 'The Rise Of Skywalker' Works
One of the new concepts that were introduced in Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker was that of the Sith Wayfinder. The movie itself didn’t reveal much about the pyramid-shaped devices that resemble a holocron but are something vastly different; these ancient artifacts were created by the Sith in order to navigate the dangerous hyperspace to the Sith world of Exegol, deep in the Unknown Regions at the western part of the galaxy. There were two of these devices: The first one was owned by Darth Vader and later acquired by his grandson Kylo Ren. The second one belonged to Darth Sidious and was on the second Death Star at the time of its destruction.
