Ugadi, also known as the Telugu New Year, is one of the most significant festivals celebrated in the Southern states of India, particularly in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. It is observed on the first day of Chaitra, the first month of the Hindu lunisolar calendar. In 2023, Ugadi will be celebrated on April 5th.
