My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.

The Aussie Edition
BJ (Medium friend) is fast becoming famous on Medium for her ‘This or That’ challenges but in the Australian edition she highlights that this challenge was instigated by John Hansen (another Medium writer) and being a born and bred Australian I had to give it a go. So Australian that I've never left its shores.

My Doppelgänger
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. I stood frozen, never taking my eyes off the reflection, praying that I was dreaming, then the reflection moved and I knew this was no dream. No, more like a real nightmare. I turned and ran.
