Power Rangers Review: "Green With Evil (Part II: Jason's Battle)"
When we last left our heroes, they were in a very, very tight spot. The Power Rangers had a new foe in the form of one of their own: the evil Green Ranger. Rita Repulsa decided that it was time to mold someone into becoming her Green Ranger, and that someone ended up being the new kid at Angel Grove High School, Tommy Oliver. As the Green Ranger, Tommy made quite the diabolical impression--destroying the Command Center, thus putting Zordon out of commission, and crashing Megazord and beating the Rangers.

Power Rangers Review: "Green With Evil (Part I: Out of Control)"
In the time that passed ever since Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, and Kimberly became Power Rangers, the duo had learned adapt to their new responsibilities. This included Billy creating the well-known and well-recognized communicators, which had been used to communicate and teleport to the Command Center and other places during a mission. In addition, the Rangers received their power weapons as well: Zack had the Power Axe, Kimberly had the Power Bow, Billy had the Power Lance, Trini had the Power Daggers, and Jason had the Power Sword. The quintet faced challenges when it came to battling Rita Repulsa's monsters, but they defeated them and solved them quickly.

CFL Week 4 Recap: Duds
It has been a trying few months for sports fans in the city of Winnipeg. First off, the Winnipeg Jets were blasted in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, though their superstar goalie, Connor Hellebuyck, won his second Vezina Trophy at this year's NHL Awards. And then there's the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. They are not off to a great start to the 2024 season. They are winless after three games, and they were looking to get Win #1 on a Saturday evening in Calgary. The West Division battle saw the Bombers down by a touchdown very late, but they managed to tie it up with just over 30 seconds left.

Power Rangers Review: "Day of the Dumpster"
You know, I've been a hardcore Power Rangers fan since the franchise started all the way back in 1993. The series is still going on strong even now with its many incarnations, though like many fans, I often tend to look back at the classic episodes from the early years. I have written a few Power Rangers related stories on here, and I've been planning to write some episodic reviews for a long while now. It wouldn't be literally every episode, just the ones that stand out the most and feature some of the most historic moments.

Ruth Finley: Villainess or Victim?
Kudos, once again, to Lifetime, as they delivered an amazing retelling of a captivating true crime story. This was a story that I knew nothing about until I learned about the movie, and it was a couple of weeks prior to the movie's airdate that I did my homework on Ruth Finley's story, and it's because of what I learned that I was even more excited for this film than I already was. There's another reason, but that will be mentioned later.

CFL Week 3 Recap: Welcome Home
There they are: all eight of the Montréal Alouettes' Grey Cup championship banners, with the eighth one being the one from last year. This year is the championship defense for the Als, and it started with two games on the road, which Montréal won. For Week 3, it's the long awaited home opener, and the team and their fans celebrated their first championship in 13 years. After the banner was unveiled, the Alouettes got right to work in this East Division battle against the Ottawa Redblacks.

A Look at the 10 Remaining Teams Who Have Yet to Win the Stanley Cup
On June 24, 2024, the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup for the first time in their franchise history, which began back in 1993. The NHL has seen a lot of first-time champions crowned in recent years. This year marks the fourth time in the last seven years that the Stanley Cup went to a team who hadn't won it before. The trend started with the Washington Capitals in 2018, and in 2019, it was the St. Louis Blues who won it. Last year, the Vegas Golden Knights won the Cup in their sixth season of play.

The Evolution of LGBT Portrayal in TV and Film. Top Story - June 2024.
Happy Pride Month, all! I love Pride Month and everything that comes with it; the celebration, the festivities, the prestige. Pride Month is the ultimate beacon of positivity. Now sadly, there are a bunch of people in society who aren't really crazy about Pride Month and have their things to say against it. To those people, I'll only say this. There's a special place reserved for people who are against Pride Month. I'm too much of a gentleman to say it here, but I'll give a few hints: it rhymes with "bell," and I'm not talking about the city in Michigan.

70 Years of Deviltry: A Look at Looney Tunes' Tasmanian Devil
As we all know, Looney Tunes has given us so many wild, wacky, and crazy characters in the last 90+ years; some have been highly acclaimed, while others weren't featured much, but were basically cult hits. A character that definitely belongs in the "cult hit" category is the Tasmanian Devil (or "Taz" for short). Taz is definitely quite a popular character in the Looney Tunes group, and this is despite the fact that he was only featured in five shorts during the classic era at Warner Bros. Cartoons.

Winner Takes All: The Complete History of Game Seven of the Stanley Cup Final
Game Seven. No two words have brought out more excitement, tension, and panic more than "Game Seven." Of course, Game Seven exists in the playoff series format that we see in MLB, the NBA, and the NHL. MLB only has the League Championship Series (since 1985) and the World Series played under a best-of-seven format. Since 2003, all NBA playoff rounds have been best-of-seven, while the NHL has had every round play under that format since 1987.
