NFL Week 1 Recap: New Season, Who Dis?
As the man in the photo often shouts before the ball is snapped, "HERE WE GOOOO!!!" NFL Sunday. It's basically a holiday that comes once a week for 18 straight weeks, not counting playoffs. I've enjoyed NFL Sunday since I was a little boy, and I'm barely old enough to remember when all of the core games took place on Sunday, followed by the Monday game. The Sunday action is usually divided into three time slots; the early window (1PM EST), the late window (4:05PM/4:25PM EST), and Sunday Night Football (8:20PM EST). Usually, it's 14 Sunday games played, but in this, the first NFL Sunday of the 2024 season, it was 13 games played.

The Sad Golden Rule in Society: Adultery is Wrong...Unless You're White
You know, if you really think about it, there are racial double standards in pretty much everything in society. Jobs, sports, temperament, you name it, and the list is never-ending. After some deep thought, I also realized that the double standards also apply to the cardinal sin of adultery.

CFL Week 9 Recap: Blown Leads Sink Ships
The date was August 3, 2024. The Edmonton Elks were winless, coming off a massive blow out loss to the equally lowly Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Prior to that loss, the other six losses they suffered were all by one possession, and that included the heartbreaking loss to the Ottawa Redblacks, where Ottawa managed to get in field goal range in only eight seconds. It seemed like it would be a good while before the Elks would get Win #1, and with a trip to Regina in store for the Elks, it definitely looked like another drubbing was inevitable.

Women's Midcard Titles Coming to WWE's Main Roster Soon?
We've been calling for it for a long, long time. Now, it looks like it might be possibly close to a reality. We could be getting midcard titles for WWE's main roster collection of women's wrestlers, and it's long overdue.

Power Rangers Review: "The Green Candle"
I know it's been over 30 years, but...I still LOATHE that candle! Tommy Oliver joining the Power Rangers was a huge boost to the heroic tandem. When the quintet became a sextet, the Power Rangers became more powerful and had more weapons in their arsenal, a major one being Dragonzord. We would see a bigger force in this two-parter, but I'll save that nugget for later.

Four Teams, One Amazing Logjam (AFC North Preview)
Since the 2020 season, the American Football Conference has seen an immense rise in stock. For the longest time, the AFC was the weaker of the two conferences by an immense margin. Now, the AFC is quite beastly. As last season showed us, the core of the conference's strength came from the AFC North. AFC North games have been quite fun to watch lately, especially in the 2023 season. All four teams remained in the race until Week 17, but even then, we saw a rarity. Every team in the AFC North finished with a winning record. Holy moley!

The Bills are Screwed, and They Don't Deserve Sympathy (AFC East Preview)
That time is coming, ladies and gentlemen! The NFL season is on the horizon. The month of July is the last month before any NFL games take place of any kind. Also, IMO, this is the month that fans should dive in and start drafting in Fantasy Football. I have my many reasons why I'm excited for the 2024 NFL season, and honestly, one of these reasons will be mention in this story. My original plan was to pick just one team from each of the eight divisions and focus on them only, but I decided to just make it about each of the divisions as a whole and discuss what to expect from each of them. Also, the teams will be listed in reverse standings order, because I cannot end each story with teams we know aren't going anywhere.

Power Rangers Review: "Green With Evil (Part V: Breaking the Spell)"
So after four parts, a lot of turmoil, and with hope pretty much lost, the Rangers finally had the answer they were looking for since it all began. Tommy Oliver, the quintet's newfound friend, was the evil Green Ranger. He was the one who took out Zordon in Part I, sent Jason to the dark dimension in Part II, and nearly finished him off in Part III. And finally, it was Tommy who partly caused the Rangers' worst defeat in Part IV.

Power Rangers Review: "Green With Evil (Part IV: Eclipsing Megazord)"
To put it bluntly, this was the best episode of the miniseries. I'll go into more detail later. I'll say this. Part III was amazing in its own right due to the fact that Jason actually went up against Green Ranger in that dark dimension, and narrowly escaped. The Rangers had their leader back, but they also had another plague in the form of Scorpina. Despite this, Rita Repulsa pulled back on that attack, but the Rangers knew that it would be a matter of time until Rita would deliver again, possibly in a much larger way. That moment came in the form of Goldar destroying the city, and that left the Rangers wondering what to do as Part III came to an end.

Power Rangers Review: "Green With Evil (Part III: The Rescue)"
The evil Green Ranger, to this point, has done a number on our heroes. Part I saw the Green Ranger take out Zordon and defeat the Power Rangers handily. In Part II, Green Ranger became even more powerful once he received the Sword of Darkness, and he used his Power Coin to send Jason to the dark dimension, where he would face off against Goldar. This left the Rangers shorthanded, but with the help of Megazord, they did hold Green Ranger at bay, but they were still without their two most important allies: Zordon and Jason.

Stanley Cup Final Game Three: Kiss of Death
For the first time in three years, the Stanley Cup Final headed across the northern border to Canada. For the first time in 18 years, the Cup Final emanated from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. However, the Oilers were on the wrong end of a 2-0 Cup Final, and history states that 2-0 is hard to come back from in the final round. Only five teams have done it, and it hasn't been accomplished since 2011, when the Boston Bruins won four out of five after losing the first two games of that year's Cup Final.

The Last Resort
"Professor Benton Marsh?" As day became dusk, Benton Marsh was surprised to hear someone calling his name as he was on his way out of the school building. He turned around and saw a woman standing across from him, and it only took a few seconds for Marsh to see that she was in immense distress.
