Is Jordynne Grace Turning Heel?
Is Jordynne Grace on the verge of a heel turn? The signs, IMO, are there. I've wanted a heel turn for Jordynne for a number of months now. I think she can really excel as a villainess in Impact, especially with her physique, which would allow her to play the villainous powerhouse role. Jordynne has been wrestling for a decade, but she joined Impact Wrestling back in 2018. It was in February of 2020 that Jordynne captured the Knockouts Championship from Taya Valkyrie, ending Valkyrie's record 377-day reign, and held the title for 182 days before losing to Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary.

Villainess Review: Miranda Hurst (Motive)
A show that I really enjoyed binge-watching was the Canadian crime drama, Motive, which was a rarity in the world of procedural crime dramas, as it was shown in the "howcatchem" format. As you know, the howcatchem, or "whydunit," is the opposite of the standard whodunit; in a whodunit, the viewer (or reader when it comes to literature) has to figure out the identity of the killer along with the characters involved, and that person isn't revealed until the end. In a howcatchem, however, the killer is shown committing the murder in an early scene, with that person's identity already exposed, and the viewer/reader follows the protagonist's pursuit of said killer.

Villainess Review: Mandy (Saving My Daughter)
Normally, in my villainess reviews, I usually detail the events of the film or television program that eventually lead to the villainess being unveiled on screen. However, I'm going to do something different here because my usual approach is similar to a movie review as well, and there's already a review of this movie up on Vocal written by someone who I consider as the "Wayne Gretzky of movie reviews" (it's Stanley Cup Playoff time, hence the Great One reference). So with that, I'll just cut to the chase and state that this story and review is about Mandy, the main villainess of 2021's Saving My Daughter.

Villainess Review: Adele Bensimon (Bull)
CBS' hit series, Bull, recently celebrated 100 episodes and later ended its fifth season, with a sixth on the way. It's an amazing show; I binge-watched a few years ago and now I watch live on Monday nights. It was on September 20, 2016 that this show began its run with the episode, "The Necklace."

Grad Night, 2001 It was a big night for Andrea Rosen and her best friend, CeeCee Langdon, as they had just received their cap and gowns--they were high school graduates. The girls had left a graduation party and went off on their own in a wooded area, while also talking about the future and their plans. In addition, Andrea and CeeCee expressed how much their friendship meant to each other, but during this point, they were startled by rustling noises, which they dismissed as nothing--until they heard something sinister and animalistic.

Reviewing a Hat Trick of Villainesses from "Sorority Sister Killer"
Sorority Sister Killer completed Lifetime's back-to-back days of sorority-themed thrillers, following Secrets of Sorority Row. In this film, the focus is on best friends Lacey Montgomery and Tara George, who are pledging to the Kappa Tau Pi sorority, which has Courtney McCray as president. After being welcomed by Courtney, younger sister Ella, and their mother (as well as the sorority's den mother), Lana, the girls start their pledging, which happens to include a hazing ritual that consisted of excessive drinking and bullying one of the pledges, Tiffany, by hurling fat-shaming comments at her and forcing her to take off her dress. This sets off Lacey, who leaves the house, but Tara remains, causing friction between the two friends.

Villainess Review: Betsy Gray (Chronicle Mysteries)
A Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film series I have immensely enjoyed is Chronicle Mysteries, which brought Allison Sweeney back into the fold. Sweeney, best known for playing scheming Sami Brady on Days of our Lives, portrayed Hannah Swensen on the Murder, She Baked film series, but this series casts Sweeney as podcaster Alex McPherson, and the second film of the series, The Wrong Man, featured Alex getting involved in investigating a murder that occurred three years prior to the events.

Villainess Review: Rachel Turner (Matchmaker Mysteries)
I am a huge fan of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' many film series, and I love how these new series just keep popping up one by one. One of the recent film series is Matchmaker Mysteries, which stars Danica McKellar as famed matchmaker Angie Dove, and the first installment, A Killer Engagement, debuted on October 6, 2019.

Villainess Review: Stacey (Secrets on Sorority Row)
The first of back-to-back days of sorority-based thrillers on Lifetime gave us Secrets on Sorority Row, which began with a flashback to 1997, when Michelle and Kelly were pledging to the Epsilon Theta sorority, which was led by Stacey. The hazing ritual centered on excessive drinking, and after Michelle and Kelly were accepted, the latter ended up falling down a flight of stairs and to her death. Fast forward over 20 years, Michelle--a psychology professor--is dealing with her teenaged daughter, Quinn, pledging to the same sorority, and also dealing with threatening letters from someone referencing Kelly's death.

The Vast Decline of the Golden Knights' Fanbase
On Thursday, the Vegas Golden Knights lost the West Division and the Presidents' Trophy when the Colorado Avalanche won 5-1 over the Los Angeles Kings. As an Avalanche fan since the team's final two years as the Quebec Nordiques, I was in an immensely celebratory mood over the Avalanche finishing the season with the league's best record, and I went on YouTube to watch the highlights. As I scrolled through the comments, I found a couple from fans of the Golden Knights saying that the Avalanche "didn't deserve" to win the Presidents' Trophy, and mocking the Avalanche for "letting 15 skaters dominate them," a reference to Monday's head-to-head game, which the Avalanche won, 2-1. Another comment actually blamed Robin Lehner, the backup to Marc-Andre Fleury, for Monday's loss, stating that he "let in a pair of softies." Oh boy.

Villainess Review: Autumn Delaney (Good Witch)
With the seventh season of Good Witch closing in, I decided to finally resume binge-watching the series after trailing off while watching Season Five. Very recently, I finished watching Season Five and moved to the most recent of the Good Witch specials that usually air between seasons, the aptly titled, "Curse from a Rose."
