Again
Jake’s eyes snapped open. He felt the seat beneath him moving. Not again. Jake looked out the window. The train was moving quickly, unfamiliar scenery a blur. He heaved a sigh and readjusted himself, glancing around the compartment. Then he checked his pockets. Well at least his wallet was still there but his phone was gone. Jake stretched and tried to feel what his body was telling him. It was stiff. He needed some caffeine. Jake tried to pop his neck deciding he would wait a few minutes before he would get up to grab himself some. Probably a soda. The sugar helped it work better anyways.

Sway
While there were many residents in the facility there was only one who was really noteworthy. Carmine had met her once. She had scared him a little with her long green limbs and her pupilless eyes. But she had been so kind to him. She’d apologized for him ending up in that place. He’d been a little sad when he heard she left. Mostly he’d been surprised.

Nesting Project
Nesting is an interesting side effect of pregnancy. Like the birds of the animal kingdom humans must prepare their nest. We need the crib to be placed just right and the clothes organized. Everything must be clean. Things must be acquired or made. We must be ready.
