To Be a Gemini
Tis’ the season to be a full blown, bona fide Gemini, is it not? Dual personalities abound all about us, so should we not blend in, joining in all the fun? After all, I, too, am a Gemini born on June 8th and thoroughly embrace nearly all the aspects that embody being one. There are many diversified aspects of being a Gemini, some of which I will entail herein.

Cyanic
A word is such a vague way of defining oneself, is it not? I am often asked what word I would use if I could only pick one with which to describe myself. Therefore, I muse to myself, what’s in a word that I may use one to accurately describe me? Does it limit me in any capacity if I use only one word? I like to think there are several dynamics and dimensions that compose the complex issue of who I really am, so would one word truly suffice?

Love on the Battery
Sitting on the second floor balcony of the historical home situated at the far end of the Battery, Anabelle watched the boats move fluidly through the Charleston harbor, their sails full in the strong February winds. The beautiful three-story home she had lived in since birth was originally built in 1787, withstanding many a hurricane, war, and uprising throughout the years.

Love Rises Like a Phoenix
In the late afternoon each day, Tess walked the cliffs of Cornwall, looking out upon the vast ocean as she awaited the return of her beloved sea captain. The Trevose Head Lighthouse stood at the ready, able to provide guidance to any incoming ship out on the seas. It had been over a year since she’d seen The Saphho draw near, but she held steadfast to hope as she waited, walking amidst the flower encrusted cliffs high above the lapping ocean’s waves.
