To Nana and Papa
When I was in elementary school, I learned to write the alphabet. I was so impressed with my writing that when my grandparents came to visit, I showed them my work in my writing tablet. My grandmother said, “If you write the alphabet every day, I’ll give you 50 cents.” She had a deal.👍🏽

Maybe Next Year
I grew up in a loving home with my mother, father, and three siblings. My widowed grandmother came to live with us shortly after my twin brother, David, and I were born. Oh yeah, we are sixteen years younger than my sister, Mickie, and fourteen years younger than my brother, Michael. It happens. 😉

Me, Myself and iTunes
The soundtrack of my life is filled with various playlists. It’s just that I have never considered an Anti-Valentine’s Day playlist—until now. The music that grabs me at the core includes symphonic, Rock&Roll, Jazz, R&B, Gregorian chants, country, soul. Well, you get it: five lines and four spaces with a verbal message or melodic message. You name it, I can like it—eventually.
