Writing What Is Real
For as long as I can remember, I have loved to write. Stories, poems, scripts, you name it. If it is creative writing, I have given it a go and enjoyed it. What I love about putting pen to paper is that those words come entirely from my heart and my mind. I can build worlds and form civilizations that may never exist on our universe. Yes, I love to write science fiction—it is one of my favourite genres, in fact. The idea that I can bring readers into this magical and colourful world which I have dreamed up really excites me. That is what writing is about, isn't it? Creating a place into which your readers can escape for just a short while. It might sound easy, but while you are building this universe, whether based on the real world or some other fantastical dimension, your audience needs to be able to relate enough to it that they will keep coming back.

Staying Motivated to Write
Anyone who has a passion for creating, not just written word but any kind of art, knows that in order to complete their work, they must stay motivated. We have all experienced the slip of concentration when it comes to our art, you are not alone. Whether it is just life getting in the way, or the fact that this piece is just not THE piece for you, it is not uncommon to lose focus and it is far too easy to just give up.

Becoming a Writer
In this post, I will tell you a little about me and what I am doing in order to become a writer. As this is the first time I have fully acknowledged my desired career path and therefore don't know whether it will work, I'd ask that you don't take what I am about to write as advice, just a note of my development. Everything I have to say in this post is simply my feeling, no judgement on any person who cannot do what I am doing or thinks I am crazy for doing it (I also think that at times).

Headache Relief
If you are reading this, it probably means that you suffer from frequent headaches. Head pain can be caused by many different things and if you notice them to be happening more and more often, then you should definitely go to see your doctor. They can help you find the reason you are in pain. In the meantime, if you are anything like me then you are fed up of using medicated painkillers to ease the ache.

Theatre People
As a child (now adult) of all things Theatre-darling, I have come to realize that many of the characteristics and actions I have picked up through years of actors training are not always regarded as "normal" behavior. I began the "I'm a performer" thing when I was around 5-years-old when I started ballet, then at 10 I found my love for all other things "performance" at Stagecoach Performing arts school. While I formed interests in many other subjects as I grew up, the strongest pull I have ever had was to being in front of an audience (I know, show off) and I went on to study PA at college and then at University. These kinds of courses are amazing for a person's confidence, but I now know that while the confidence is being drummed in, so are many other "theatrical" traits that are not so accepted when it comes to say, an office job.

Make Air Travel Simple
When I started travelling back and forth from Colorado around 5 years ago, I (like most first-time solo flyers) thought that in order to have a happy and comfortable flight, I would need to bring as many creature comforts on board with me as possible.
