December 2nd, 1865 – Central Minnesota Jeb was angry, which was good. The rage prevented the horror and sorrow from crippling him. It kept him moving toward the beast that had killed his wife, Tabitha, and taken his 8-year-old son, Caleb. He had little reason to believe that his son was still alive, but if there was even a glimmer of hope, he would never turn back.
