Special interest
When I was thinking what could be my special interest 10-15 years ago, the answer seemed obvious - psychology, cosmology, consciousness, neurotransmitters. However, when I was finally on my way to getting diagnosed, I wasn’t so sure anymore. I feel that it’s not that intense, not that deep. I don’t even read on those topics that often anymore. It doesn’t feel like a special interest. Do I really have any special interest?

My road to ADHD
I diagnosed myself with various kinds of disorders during my studies years, but I never even thought about ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder). When thinking about ADHD, the first thought was always "that male classmate" who walked around the classroom during the lessons and disturbed everyone's work. And me? I was always calm, "good girl", and not even the slightest sign of hyperactivity.

Social anxiety?
When I was little, before school and in the first years of school, I used to find friends easily and I wanted to participate everywhere in school. However, later, when I changed the school, bullying started. Since then it seemed that everything changed, I wasn’t the same courageous girl who wanted to participate everywhere.

I am different
In my teens, I thought, all people were more or less like me. I used to think, that laws were unnecessary because people wouldn’t suddenly start killing or stealing just because there are no laws forbidding it, and those who want to do that, already do it despite the law. But I was about to get surprised - I was wrong.
