Would I lie to you - from introvert to extrovert
Facing the fears I grew up with was challenging. Latino - Chinese born and raised, obviously two worlds collided with no winners on the battlefield. The Chinese factor, still predominant, on my mom side; my dad’s first generation was loosing ground. But his blood was pure. On my mom’s side, she was 2nd generation. So I was literally 70% Chinese with the other 30% Latino complications. Very conflicting and compelling at the same time.

You are wrong about the song
Sitting at my balcony, I could see the gondolas sailing from the bottom of the street in Venice. I could hear a serenade being played to a loved one at the distance, sometimes muffled by the soft waves hitting the building; disturbing the buildings near by. The splashing of the paddle were an addition to the uniform sounds being taken away by the warm breeze just passing by in between the houses.

Nothing to say at all
The beautiful summer day was somehow different this time. Climate change has been playing with us lately, making vine crops not produce same as last year. Craig was concerned, perhaps the crop was not delivering producing at least over last year’s crop.

A hidden talent in a big city
It all began one Sunday morning. My mom yelling my name from downstairs saying ‘Chacha come downstairs - Now! I thought- what the heck did I do now? I was the favorite to pick, always the one to blame for anything. I’m coming down soon, I replied. I was not in the mood for humiliation again,

The View from here
As I sat in front of my computer pen in my mouth and glasses on, I noticed there was a bunch of emails coming in. Maybe time to get into business - I thought. The long weekend was approaching, and my need for drive far to a magical place was taking form. Gary and I, both enjoyed traveling down south to explore the West Coast of California, take the dogs for a walk, Gary wind surfing. I always loved to take with me a sketch book and some art supplies for quick sketching of the beautiful scenery this side of the world had.

A word of mouth
It started one day, the Big Day was finally to come true. A big celebration where two souls seal a deal that will last for ever, no matter if rains or snows, still keep us together. Like a strong maple tree, will never ever fall if they have strong roots. Love and understanding are the ingredients reat for a great marriage. Also with that comes a great food balanced diet. We never considered ourselves totally fit, but we tried.

Happiness contained in a little flower
Interesting to say - maybe to better understanding and identifying this beautiful flower, Calendula is also known as Marigold. For me, to be eating flowers u had to turn into a rabbit, big long ears and be hopping everywhere. Be soft and fluffy snd cute to anybody, specially kids.

Somewhere out there
Where I’m coming from that’s never possible. Unless you inherited it from your great parents or uncles, the possibility of having a farm was scarce. You pay for land, the barn house, the barn, phone line, municipal water, electricity, etc, as same as you were to buy a new house in the city.
