Sapphire's Wings
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. That was what my father always said when he would tell his grand tales by the fire. Listeners of all ages would be captivated by his breath-taking descriptions of magical creatures and heroic adventures of his youth. That was until one day, the Warriors of Sandoval came to take my father away for daring to tell his stories. His stories were considered a crime against The Crown, showing King Percy of Sandoval in a less than appealing light. The King wished to be the greatest- and most feared- power in the lands, and having old adventures spread their tales of heroism when the Warriors of Sandoval sat idly by was not acceptable. Fearing the next generation might try to follow in the heroes of old’s footsteps, The King had my father, and many others, imprisoned. My father knew that day would come, for his truths, or his blood as he was a pure blood elf. His transgressions against the King, and his elven blood, became my burden to bear. For the next ten years, I lived in the orphanage in town. Now though upon my 18th birthday, I, Sapphire Warwick, was finally free, and I was going to find my father.

Moonlit Fates
The wind rustled through the trees, causing the shadows to shiver across the forest floor. Silver light gleamed through the canopy as Morgan Flay used her camera lens to scope out the pier at Central Point. It was dangerous to stay out this late in the Gehenna Preserve, but she hadn’t gotten her fix yet.

Bound Existence
Summer was in the air, thick and humid, drawing forth an army of bloodthirsty insects as Martin wandered beneath the shady trees. He felt like a vampire, struggling to stay beneath the overhanging branches in a desperate attempt to avoid the searing sun. It was just too damn hot down here in the south.

Eternal Torment
Wandering through the frigid nothingness of The Veil offered little respite for the Old One’s eternal agony. The cold atmosphere combined with the swirling mist around the bull’s exposed flesh made the blood congeal, tendons freeze and muscle fibers tense in frigid structure.

From Dawn to Dusk
The moist scents of the rain forest began to fade, replaced by a steadily growing foul stench. Amonsun-Ra curled his lips up in a grimace, the unique scent of The Stench filling his nostrils. The Stench was the result of the overflow from the forest’s year round rains. This marshy waste was a natural barrier around his people’s home, preventing most outsiders from entering the rain forest.

The constant roar of water made Amonsun-Ra grin as he neared Axul Falls. V’losa was nowhere to be seen, but that was to be expected of the huntress. She moved undetectable through the rainforest, and he would not be surprised if she was even invisible.

A Chance Encounter
The feline’s fluffy half-tail tickled the lycan’s nose as he chased his prey. Snapping his jaws, the beast whined with disappointment as he caught only air. This was the most fun he’d had in ages. It was by chance he found the little grey devil in the woods chasing a rat. Now though, the feline didn’t seem thrilled to have the tables turned on him.
