World events are beyond what most of us can comprehend. The news leaves us feeling helpless. We see so much anger and hate around us. To be honest with you, we can only control what we do and how we feel. This is true no matter the event.

Not You
Ana lived in Flushing, Queens. The street was alive this morning. Red lanterns were strung across the streets and rose towards the clouds with the morning breeze. Neon signs written with Chinese characters lined the street. Shop windows displayed lucky cats alongside food items, herbal medicine, tea pots and odds and ends.
