I basically write about life experiences and parenting. People want to hear about other people life experiences because some how or another we all can relate to what someone else has been through and that's what I write about.

The Unexpected Sacrifice.
Some years ago I was reading a story about a young man that fell on tough times. He had no contact with his family, and he was homeless living on the streets. Somehow, he ran across an acquaintance that he grew up with. Later, this man found out that his friend was in business for himself and had built his own home. It turned out that his friend offered him a place to stay until he could get on his feet. Meanwhile, the man that was no longer homeless and now had a roof over his head found out he was terminally ill. Eventually, this man passed away. He had money that he had saved back, but it was not enough to pay for the whole funeral expense.

Skeletons In The Closet.
Sometimes skeletons in the closet do not wait on your timetable. A lot of times things happen which we think, or hope will stay buried comes out in the open ready or not. When this happens, you are faced with dealing with it or trying to ignore it in some other kind of way. If other people are involved and secrets that have been hidden for decades are revealed, a lot of family members can be hurt because they feel like all these years they have been lied to. Sometimes things happen and one is forced to deal with issues that have been hidden for a long time.

Life After The Military.
A couple of months ago, I was watching a movie called, The Lucky One. What stuck with me the most was after the guy came back home from the military, he had some difficulties adjusting to civilian life again. In the end, it turned out good for the guy. In real life, after a person is released from the military, the adjustment might not always be smooth sailing. It all depends on what the individual has gone through when they were deployed, and it is another story if the individual was wounded. There are two major adjustments that a person must go through when re-entering civilian life.
