The Big Dream
I'm floating through the air, surrounded by soft pink hues. The colors all change from pink, to blue, and purple. I see words everywhere even when I sleep. I softly float down....down....., down into my chair at my desk. My computer is in front of me, and I'm typing.

The Shadow in the Kitchen
I put the kettle on to make a cup of tea when I heard a snarl. 'I can see you,' The voice taunted me, but all I could see was a shadow on the kitchen wall. I knew it wasn't my shadow talking because that never happens. I try to pour water into my cup.

A Changing World
It was daylight when I woke up five minutes ago, but now it is night and it is thundering and lightning. Heavy rain is falling on my window, though it is no ordinary rain. It sizzles and smokes like hot acid against the glass. Outside, the streets are burning like hot lava, and the air is riddled with terrifying screams.

Cracked: A Tale of Two Worlds.
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own... I stood in front of the mirror brushing my hair and putting my make-up on. I looked like my usual self, pale, freckled, with long dark brown hair that never went where I wanted it to go. I didn't like my usual self very much, I wanted to be beautiful like other women and not like the 'plain Jane,' I always saw every day in that ugly mirror.
