A Letter to My Little Girl
Sometimes, life has a way of doing a back flip, and landing right on your head. It has been a few months since I've seen you, and it may be longer until I can again. I worry about you every day, you're always on my mind... that never changes. You're still little, but you're not as little as you used to be; part of me is scared that your memory of me has faded away. God only knows... I miss you more than I have ever missed anyone.

Will 'Survivor' Go On Forever
Outwit, Outplay, Outlast, anyone who knows these three tasks has probably watched the show that demands them at one point or another. Survivor... the king of all reality TV shows, has been going strong for a solid 18 years now. Airing in the homes of millions of families all across the country, while branching off to different versions all around the world. There probably isn't a single neighborhood in America that doesn't have at least one person who wants their shot at the million dollar prize, and title of "Sole Survivor." Not to mention, it literally just got CBS a win in ratings a couple of weeks back, when it was the most watched show above all the others that air that Wednesday night.

A Millennial's Comeback Story
"Sometimes you need to really get knocked down in order to truly know what your fight is." —Chadwick Boseman One of the worst things anyone can do is get stuck in their own mind. Yet I can’t ever seem to break the habit of overthinking. I spent the entire bus ride staring out the window lost in thought; five hours of thinking should lead to some kind of progress, right? If so, then I sure as hell wasn’t doing it right because I stepped off of that bus feeling exhausted and just as conflicted. From a span of between the last few months and the last couple of years, the road I found myself on proved intense and emotional. Have you ever watched your entire life just collapse before your eyes? God bless the egotistical because this is the most humbling experience they will ever have, and just like every other asshole, I have a decent sized hand in why it all went south…

Why Critics Are Wrong About 'Venom'
Since its release last year in November, Venom has been a movie surrounded with debates on how good it really is. Even after the death by firing squad that the anti-heroes first solo outing underwent by critics; the movie still somehow managed to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars in the box office. Fans refused to make too much out of the mediocre reviews and decided to watch the movie and decide for themselves how good it really was. I myself took the same approach by giving it a chance before paying any mind to the unfair ratings that have been bestowed upon the public in the films name. Now, by no means is this title the best superhero film ever made. There are quite a few flaws that should most certainly be addressed when Sony begins production on the sequel, and thanks to the 800 plus million dollars that the film has gained (making it the most profitable superhero origins film of all time) a sequel title has already been confirmed. By now you have probably noticed the great divide in opinion between fans and critics regarding Venom's ratings. How exactly does a film that was given a meager 29 percent on rotten tomatoes, turn up to be one of the most profitable projects of 2018? That question is exactly what we will be investigating in this article. Something within this equation is doing very little to add up, in fact, the only thing that seems to be adding up is the frustration fans are having with these unreasonable, parasites we call critics. So hold on to your symbiotes because we'll be getting into the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the brutally ugly portions that factor into what was an over-all great flick. Although, I must warn you there will be massive spoilers awaiting ahead. So, if you have yet to see Venom than you may want to refrain from reading on (you have been warned).

Runnin Round Red Mountain
Darkness ... All I can see is darkness. It sets in like the sun and pulls away all the sound in the world with it. Even the rain that falls all around me does so in a way that escapes my range of hearing. The ground beneath my feet then starts giving way to even more of what is the darkness consuming the world around me. In the ever fading distance, I see the silhouette of what appears to be a young woman. She’s here … Why is she always here? Complete and total silence … Why can’t I ever hear the rain? I can see the young woman raising her head, raising her eyes to meet with mine. Before I have the opportunity to make eye contact with her, I feel my body begin to lose weight, as I start falling. Down into the empty void that is the darkness below me. For what seems like forever, until…

Robinhood vs. Stash
When it comes to long term options for accumulating financial profits, nothing is as secure as the stock market. This day and age, it is not common knowledge that even the average Joe can make a shiny penny off investing in stocks, provided they do their research and play their cards right. With the cost of living on a climb, financial security is guaranteed to no one. Therefore, the impact investing your side cash into America’s open market can have on your life should be too obvious to ignore. I like to consider it as a savings account that puts your money to work, with the potential to see profits no bank in the world could match.

Final Thoughts Before End Game
With less than a hundred days away from the premiere of the movie that the world has been waiting for, all fans can seem to think about is Avengers Endgame. Those trolling Russo brothers even tweeted a little video to amp up the anxiety (teasing bastards, cough cough). A good amount of time has passed since we witnessed the comic heroes we cherished turn to dust before our very eyes. Fans are not letting a single second go to waste either, concocting videos and articles with all kinds of theories and speculation about what is to come for our Avengers. Now that we are past the hundred day mark, I wanted to go over everything we know and everything we still need to know about Endgame. A brief recap on all of the teasers and sneak peeks we have seen so far, along with all the questions we as fans still have.

The Death of Mainstream Media
It is said that anything that has a beginning will inevitably come to an end. This premise is one of the only things that is guaranteed for any person, place or thing in the known universe. Although I would have never guessed that we would see the end come for something as enveloped in today’s society as mainstream media. Big time news networks like CNN, FOX, and MSNBC have all been victims of a downward spiral in both content quality and ratings within the last decade. Presentation of biased opinions, partial information, and over-all edited versions of the truth have spear headed this downward spike in viewers for major news networks. A few months ago, a Knight Foundation and Gallup poll was released stating Americans trust in these news networks was at an all-time low. In addition to the kamikaze-like internal dilemmas of mainstream media today, there are a few outside factors playing a role in its downfall as well.

If Anime Took on the Marvel Universe
With the recent success of Infinity War and the sequel title around a half ways away, along with that new Jump Force game due to be released some time these next few weeks... There has been an abundance of speculation, to say the least. Fans, on both sides of the fence, have been asking the question... Who would triumph in an all out war between the anime universe (which would include; Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece,One Punch Man, and My Hero Academia) and the Marvel comic book universe. As a long time fan of both, my entire life to be more specific, I personally believe I can add some valuable insight on this particular hypothetical conflict. Now to be clear! There would be no dominating victor in this contest. Both sides have a long list of contending characters along with their star characters and over all beast characters that are seemingly impossible to stop on their own. That being said there are a variety of different advantages that pertain to both sides of the conflict as well.

Sulawesi Disaster
The country of Indonesia has always proved a difficult place to live throughout human history. This is cause of its location on the belt of fire, the portion of the world that wraps around the Pacific ocean that is prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Its thousands of islands are littered with active volcanoes. The people of this nation are no stranger to natural bred chaos. Although on the 28th of September mother nature would concoct one of those abnormal events that would cost the lives of thousands. The event ignited when a 7.5 magnitude earthquake ruptured the earths surface near Lende; a small town on the northern part of one of the nations islands. The massive quake would ripple on to form a titan 20 foot wave that would roll right into the bay leading toward the city of Palu. The town of Donggala, city of Palu, Petobo and Balaroa were all severely impacted by the tsunami. Palu got the short end of stick taking the brunt of the wave, this cost thousands of homes to be damaged and the cities biggest bridge to collapse. After several days the death toll has racked up to well over 1,500 people, with a few thousand people still believed to be unaccounted for. 2.4 million in total are believed to have been effected in some way by the fall out of this catastrophe, 600,000 of those are said to be children. The large scale body count is highly due to a warnings system failure, reports from on the ground news agencies said people had little time to prepare for what was to come. Although the Indonesian government may not be to blame. Scientist are speculating over the fact that earthquakes that take place on land usually do not go on to form tsunamis, in retrospect claiming the secondary natural disaster to be no doubt a rare event.
