My Forever Friend Barkley
My dog Barkley was a basset hound that would howl at the moon and sat on top of his crate like Snoopy from Charlie Brown. My dad brought him home in a gift box one afternoon to surprise us! He’d howl and I sang. We had a little duet, and neither of us were very good when we were young pups, but we formed our own wolf pack and became pretty good.

To Pastors, Public Speakers, and Teachers
To the hometown heroes, our pastors, public speakers, teachers, and those who voice their opinions. Empiricism is a great way to learn and sometimes vital to survival, but you’ve taught me that the people who teach leave a lasting impact on society. Everyone’s perspective of the world is different but you’ve shown me that the brightest people learn from other people’s mistakes.
