Depression
There are things that are hard to express to people. Things that you just don’t get unless you’ve lived it. Depression is one of them. It’s not sadness, or the blues. It’s not feeling down. Honestly, to me, it’s more like not feeling at all. It’s the desperation to feel anything. Even if that thing is pain. Even if it is every bad dream you’ve ever dreamt. Every time you’ve ever been afraid. All of the negativity in your head, gushing out so that you feel something. It can’t use the good memories or the jokes that make you laugh so hard you can’t stop. Those things just won’t do, they are too temporary. If depression is really going to remind you how to feel, so that you feel something, it has to hit hard. It has to go deep, to the things that weigh you down.

What Weighs You Down
Let’s be honest. None of us, not even the most confident of us, are always on the top of our game. Though we often expect ourselves to be. And if there is one thing you hear about in a weight lifting community, it’s grit. Defined as courage and resolve, or strength of character. When you are trying to pull a bar twice your bodyweight off the ground or stand it up out of the hole, you're going to need courage and resolve. You’re going to need strength of character to back up your physical strength because no amount of physical strength will accomplish that feat alone.

A Thank You Letter To Donald Trump
Dear Donald Trump, I just wanted to say thank you. Our country is in chaos right now. No, our country is showing it's true colors, the chaos has been here. I wanted to thank you, for taking our country's wounds, that have band-aids placed over them for decades, and leaving them open to bleed.
