There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. There was a time when they were just a quiet, sleepy town so high in the Heaven’s Gate Mountains that most forgot they existed. They grew, gathered, and hunted their own food, only trading for what they couldn’t make on their own. The rest of the world was a far off place most of the Valley villagers only dreamed of seeing.
