The Enchanted Locket
Many years ago, in the year 1911, a lovely morning bathed the little city of Thanlyin in beauty and tranquility. The city's residents were known for their kindness and friendly nature. Among them resided a grand house, owned by the esteemed man who governed the city. He commanded respect and was loved by all for his benevolence. In this house dwelled his two daughters, Sophie and Rose, who possessed not only stunning beauty but also remarkable character. Sophie, the younger of the two, looked up to her sister Rose, who was three years her senior. Tragically, their mother had passed away when they were just children, leaving them to grow up without her guiding presence. Yet, they carried on her legacy of kindness and helpfulness, spreading warmth and compassion in their community.
