EarthNight Review – Here Be Dragons
Historically, “runner” games have not been a genre I’ve given much time. I’ve always seen them as mobile games or as games involving very precise jump/slide timing and little else. If EarthNight was one of those games, I probably wouldn’t review it at all. However, while it does possess some qualities of a “runner” game, it does more to become an interesting title.

Just Shapes and Beats Review – Feel the Music!
If there’s something that could be said about me is that I used to be a Berzerk Studio fan. Why? Because I often spent my time playing their games over at Kongregate. As a teenager, my all-time favorite game was Homerun in Berzerk Land: Berzerk Ball.

The Pedestrian Review – Puzzles in Public
I typically don’t consider myself a big fan of puzzle games. The time it takes for me to go from “considering a solution” to “I hate everything” is far too short. On this scale, Raptor Boyfriend delivers as a thoughtful and meaningful dating sim.

Svoboda 1945: Liberation Review
History is messy. The generational trauma that violence and war bring is excruciating. At times, it may seem hard to escape. Svoboda 1945: Liberation addresses these themes using a creative mix of full motion video, comics, and gameplay. FMV games are sometimes thought to be an aging relic of 80s and 90s gaming. However, the team at Charles Games have really utilized the format to create an intriguing peak at Czech history.

VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
Making your way in the world today taking everything you’ve got? You want to go where everybody knows your (user)name. Well, it’s not every day I get to paraphrase the opening theme to Cheers, so we are already dealing with something special. Pull up a stool, grab a beverage and let’s get comfortable for the most unique game I’ve played this year (so far).
