Lab-grown diamonds are genuine diamonds that are also identified as man-made diamonds, lab diamonds are chemically and optically identical to diamonds mined from the earth’s bowel and are 100% carbon. Lab diamonds are made by creating similar conditions underneath the Earth that make the diamond grow: carbon, pressure, & heat. Now, there are two processes for creating diamond gemstones: Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) & High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT). Each method is convenient for certain sizes & colors of diamonds.
