Playlist for the Hopeless Anti-Romantics
To all those with a love-hate relationship with romance... There's no shortage of love songs out there, so here are a few of my favorite songs with a bit of an anti-romantic theme, with a touch of hopeless romantic (based on personal interpretations). Feel free to comment any song suggestions you have as well!

Origins. Runner-Up in Writers Challenge.
My first piece? I couldn't remember it off hand, so I dug up my old journals to try and figure it out. What I found was a small poem from my early teen years. I hadn't tried poetry or much of any writing by that time, so I made this one as a challenge to myself to try anyway. I've never received extensive education on proper poetry, and I knew even less at the time of writing it, so that's exactly what I wrote about: what I didn't know.

A Critique of Prisoners (2013)
Prisoners invites viewers into a whirlwind of tragedy, grief, and humanity's ongoing struggle with the unpredictable evils of this world. Allured by well-executed action sequences, dreary cinematography, a haunting soundtrack, and outstanding acting performances, audiences are challenged to explore the darkest parts of ourselves as we grasp for fleeting hope.

Seven Deaths
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own, and that was the first time I realized I was capable of feeling fear. No, the reflection in the broken glass was that of a woman in her thirties, short but muscular, curly black hair, nose piercing. She had been my sixth victim. No, seventh.
