The term "self-care" has been thrown around a lot this last year, for good and bad reasons. Although some supposed self-care tips seem obvious or useless, it's important to remember that self-care actually is a very essential tool, and you should be making your mental health and well-being a priority.

Disabled at University
When I was first diagnosed with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, I did not think that going to university would ever be achievable for me. I was bed bound. I spent most of my life asleep. I couldn't get up to go to the toilet, let alone go into school. I was devastated because I had always known that I wanted to study theatre later in my life, and I just couldn't ever see myself being able to.

What Nightmares Are Made Of
Let me start by stating that none of what I am about tell you is facts or science. I've always been an avid dreamer. Dreams have filled my sleep consistently almost every day for as long as I can remember. Most of the time they're happy dreams where I'm having fun with my friends or going on an adventure. If they aren't happy, then they're most likely normal everyday-like dreams where I'm going to college or having a familiar conversation with someone I know relatively well. They're usually something enjoyable, or at least unoffensive. Usually.
