Ms. Deloney hails from Oak Cliff, Texas and she had been writing poetry since the first grade and then she decided to her craft seriously in high school. Ms. Deloney’s Mentors growing up where Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou and Nikki Giovanni which helped influenced her craft.
