Ephemeral Bliss
Oh, fleeting joy, as dew at dawn,
A silken touch, and then it’s gone.
In life’s embrace, so swift, so shy,
It lifts the heart, yet bids goodbye.
A smile’s caress, a laughter’s spark,
A lantern bright in shadows dark.
Though brief the glow, it lingers long,
A whispered verse, a soulful song.
Embrace it well, this fragile gleam,
A cherished pause within the stream.
For life is naught but passing light,
A waltz of day, a veil of night.
