Overcoming Beautiful Storms
Sometimes things doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes the things you may think are right are the main things that will hurt you most. For example, ever been in a relationship and everything was so smooth, loving, easy, & full of joy? You felt like you were on a cloud and didn’t want to get off. Then reality set in and when you got off that cloud that same person who made you feel so high was no longer there to catch you when you fell. It hurt didn’t it? Now you’re wondering what happened. You’re questioning your worth. You’re asking yourself what did you do wrong. Why did this happen? What was different? Are you not good enough? That person had something over you and you didn’t even know it. At that very moment you knew you were supposed to leave and not return. Some reason though you needed answers and would do anything to get them. Rather it was going back to that person continuously and allowing them to hurt you over and over again. Or trying to fix the broken glass that shattered right between your fingers. Either way you ended up hurt. You chose pain over pleasure. That person was the only person to make you feel the way you felt and that was all you wanted. You wanted that cloud back. You wanted what you had in the beginning. You fell in love with someone who only loved the way you loved them. That confused you. You thought that maybe if you just lowered your value and forget about your worth for a second then they will come around and love you the way you loved them. Now you’re losing yourself trying to love someone more than you love yourself. At this point you no longer see that you’re hurting yourself. You’re getting more pain out of this than gain. You were on a mission to finding out those answers and forgot who you really were. Not realizing that you had the answers the whole time. Once you realize you’ve lost yourself you will probably get depressed, start stressing, little to no appetite, sad all the time, and feel drained. Why? Because you’ve wasted so much of your time trying to make someone love you. You made yourself suffer. You hurt the person you loved the most. You made the mistake of forgetting who you are. However one morning you were tired of feeling overwhelmed and drained. You decided to fix yourself up nicely and feel alive again. You leave home and go do something that you remembered made you happy. You are focusing on you . You are taking control over yourself again. You are gaining that power that you’ve lost. You accept all the things that brought you down and realize that’s not where you want to be ever again. You now see that loving yourself first and never losing you is your key to happiness. You feel free again. You’ve created your own cloud. Now you will never allow anyone to steal your joy ever again. You have been taught a lesson. You have overcame that beautiful storm.
