With one snip at a time...a lifetime of passion can be created and merged into pure joy. Growing up there was a small little glimmering moment to the day. It was when the morning had ceased to be glowing, lunch had been served, and bellies were ever so full. When the clothes on the line were daintily drying in the breeze of the outside air. The house would smell freshly clean and everything seemed to just mesh together. This was the moment that an incredible phenomenon would happen: My grandma would sit down and just rest.

What did you get?
Opening a brand new toy for the first time is a sensational feeling and a one of a kind experience. Little did I fully realize this absolute, truly magical experience until I had kids. The mystery of an unknown toy and creating a collection is the same adventure I had as a child when getting a Happy Meal and not knowing what Hot Wheels or Barbie toy I was about to get, but I never made the connection.

Now we are Outnumbered...
So we did it. We had the open conversation that most couples come to in their life...do we have more kids? So we had it and two months later, during a world-wide pandemic nonetheless, we found out that our family of four was growing. Trust me- we our ecstatic, but stressed. See we aren't just officially joining the "Outnumbered by Kid's Club". We are also taking a very nerve-wrecking journey into an unknown season of life.

Working Mom vs. Stay-at-Home Mom
I wasn't planning on this. Really any of this. But let's just say 2020 has been a pit of despair that truly keeps getting worse with a dimming light at the end of an excruciatingly long tunnel. So here I am caught in a cross-fire of what in the world am I really meant to be: career-focused mom or a permanently at home mom.
